Women's Cross Country has Final Tune Up Before Postseason
Leopards compete at Western New England Golden Bear Invitational in preparation for postseason meets

SPRINGFIELD, Mass. – A top 15 finish for Emma Schaumloffel highlighted the Wentworth Institute of Technology women's cross country team in its final regular-season meet as the Leopards competed at the Western New England Golden Bear Invitational.
With three runners competing, the Black & Gold did not record a team score.
HOW IT HAPPENED:
- For the fourth time this season, Schaumloffel was Wentworth's leading runner as she finished 13th with a time of 24:15.21. This time set a program record for a 6K race.
- Annie King picked up a 127th place finish, crossing the line with a time of 31:30.32.
- Kirsten Alexson was right behind King, finishing 128th (31:34.88).

- Wentworth will compete at the Conference of New England Championship on Saturday, November 1.
