Women's Volleyball to Face St. John Fisher in NCAA Tournament
Leopards (23-4) will square off against the Cardinals (29-1) in an opening-round match on Thursday at Johns Hopkins University

BOSTON, Mass. – For the second time in three seasons and third time in program history, the Wentworth Institute of Technology women's volleyball team has earned a trip to the NCAA Division III Tournament. The 64-team field was announced by the NCAA this afternoon.
Forty-three conferences were awarded automatic qualification for the 2025 championship, and the remaining 21 teams were selected at-large.

The field of 64 will compete in eight, eight team regionals beginning on Thursday, November 20, and going through Saturday, November 22. The eight regional champions will advance to Illinois Wesleyan University for the quarterfinals, semifinals, and finals, from December 3-6.
After defeating Endicott, 3-1, to capture its second Conference of New England title in the last three seasons, the Wentworth Institute of Technology women's volleyball team learned its NCAA Tournament draw on Monday afternoon. The Leopards (23-4) will square off against the Cardinals of St. John Fisher (29-1) in an opening-round match on Thursday at John Hopkins University in Baltimore, Md. Both teams enter the tournament on large winning streaks with Wentworth having won 12 in a row and St. John Fisher having won their last 29 matches.
In addition to qualifying for the NCAA Tournament in 2023 and 2025, the Black & Gold made their first-ever NCAA appearance in 2018.
Thursday will be the first-ever meeting between the two teams. This season both teams played one common opponent in Clark, with both Wentworth and St. John Fisher winning, 3-0.
