Koliopoulos Named CNE Rookie, Libero of the Week

BOSTON, Mass. – After helping her team open Conference of New England play with a win, Wentworth Institute of Technology's Kate Koliopoulos has been honored by the Conference of New England as both the league's rookie of the week and libero of the week. She earns the honors for matches played from September 22-28.

In a 3-1 win over Western New England, Koliopoulos had a team-high 19 digs to go along with a pair of aces and four assists.

Koliopoulos has played in all 14 matches for the 11-3 Leopards and is averaging 1.98 digs and 0.46 service aces per set.

The Leopards host Endicott in a pivotal CNE match on Tuesday night.
