Women's Indoor Track & Field Closes Out Regular Season
Leopards tie or break three program records and have five top 10 finishes at the Wheaton Post-Season Qualifier

NORTON, Mass. – In the final regular-season meet of the year, the Wentworth Institute of Technology women's indoor track & field team saw two-student-athletes tie a program record, and record fall in two other events, while also totaling five top 10 finishes at the Wheaton Post-Season Qualifier.
HOW IT HAPPENED:
- Laci Santos was part of three of those top 10 finishes as she posted a fifth-place finish in the 60M hurdles with a time of 9.70. She was also eighth in the shot put (10.05M). As part of a relay squad with Rachel Hagerty, Olivia Holley, and Selma Moutaouakkil, she helped the unit to a fifth-place finish with a time of 1:58.11.
- In the 60M dash, Princess Nimely and Holley each tied Nimely's program mark with a time of 8.52 seconds. Both finished 13th.
- Emma Schaumloffel set a program record in the 3000M with a time of 11:02.55, which was good for eighth place.
- The Leopards rookie 4X200M relay squad of Kirsten Alexson, Jayani Bennett, Alexis Heratakis, and Nimely placed fifth with a program record time of 1:55.73.

- Selected student-athletes will compete at the Division III New England Championships next weekend.
