Women’s Basketball Places Three on Academic All-District Team
Elise Ayer, Taylor Garabedian, & Kailee McPhillips earned spots on the College Sports Communicators Academic All-District Team
BOSTON, Mass. – Three members of the Wentworth Institute of Technology women's basketball team have been named to the College Sports Communicators Academic All-District Team, as announced by the office on Tuesday afternoon. Elise Ayer, Taylor Garabedian, and Kailee McPhillips represent the Leopards on the 2025-26 Academic All-District Team.
The 2025-26 Academic All-District® Women's Basketball Teams, selected by College Sports Communicators, recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the court and in the classroom. The CSC Academic All-America® program separately recognizes honorees in four divisions — NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III and NAIA.
To be eligible for consideration, student-athletes must meet the following criteria:
- Student-athletes must be at least a sophomore, eligibility wise.
- Student-athletes must have at least a 3.50 cumulative grade point average.
- Student-athletes must have played in at least 90 percent of their team's games or have started in at least 66 percent of their team's games.
