HOW IT HAPPENED:
- Wentworth got off to a hot start with Garabedian scoring six points and Mia Luna Zayas and Ayer knocking down early shots in the game to help the Leopards build an 11-5 lead. Kendrah Doane and Natalie Kerstein answered by knocking down threes as an 11-0 run for the Bulldogs gave the hosts the advantage. - Garabedian made four free throws in the opening minute and a half of the second quarter to put the visitors ahead by two. The Leopards defense held Dean to just two free throws until Abigail Lacy's layup at the 5:41 mark in the second made it a one-point game. Kailee McPhilllips' layup put Wentworth ahead by three and Dean burned a timeout with four and half to play in the half.
