BIDDEFORD, Maine – Maddy Foster of the Wentworth Institute of Technology women's basketball team became the 13th member of the program's 1,000 career points club Wednesday night in a Conference of New England showdown with the University of New England.
On a layup with just 4:48 to play in the fourth quarter, Foster earned the 999th and 1000th points of her storied career. She's the first student-athlete to hit the milestone since 2016.
The Nor'Easters' 76-45 win boosts their record to 9-7 and 6-3 in conference play. The Leopards fall to 2-14 and 0-9 in CNE play.
