Four From Men’s Volleyball Earn AVCA All-Region Honors
Nicolai Bell, Alem Dubcak, Conner Foxwell, and Brayden Green earn another postseason honor after leading the Black & Gold to a fifth consecutive GNAC title
LEXINGTON, Ky. – Four members of the #15 Wentworth Institute of Technology men's volleyball team have earned American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA) All-Region honors, as announced by the association on Monday. Nicolai Bell, Alem Dubcak, Conner Foxwell, and Brayden Green add AVCA All-Region honors to their postseason accolades after leading the Leopards to fifth consecutive GNAC championship.
Green adds AVCA All-Region honors to his postseason awards this season after being named the GNAC Setter of the Year and earning GNAC First Team All-Conference honors. He has 744 assists this season, averaging 8.55 assists per set, in 23 matches and 87 sets. Green also tallied 113 digs and 27 total blocks this season.
Bell has featured in 20 matches and 71 sets this season. He's totaled 1505.5 points with 107 kills, averaging 1.51 kills per set, hitting .368 this season. He's tallied 56 total blocks to go with 16 digs. Bell earned GNAC Second Team All-Conference honors.
Dubcak has been a major force on the offensive side for the Leopards. He has played in 21 matches and 76 sets this season. The junior led the team with 242 kills, averaging 3.18 kills per set and totaling 281.5 points. He also recorded 14 assists, 107 digs, and 29 total blocks. Dubcak earned GNAC First Team All-Conference honors and was named to the GNAC All-Tournament Team.
Foxwell played in 22 matches and 77 sets, totaling 179.5 points. He tallied 132 kills, averaging 1.71 kills per set, and dished out seven assists. He also added 66 total blocks and 18 digs. Foxwell also earned GNAC First Team All-Conference honors.
