Andrade Claims GNAC Offensive Player of the Week Honor
Mason Andrade earns weekly accolade after notching 19 kills and 13 digs across conference wins versus Emmanuel and Rivier
WINTHROP, Mass. – After pushing their win streak to seven and remaining unbeaten in Great Northeast Athletic Conference play, the No. 9-ranked Wentworth Institute of Technology men's volleyball team earned recognition from the conference Monday afternoon. Mason Andrade was named GNAC Offensive Player of the Week for his efforts in matches played from February 3 – 9.
Across seven sets of action, Andrade struck down 19 kills, including 14 against Emmanuel, at a .429 clip (.478 versus Emmanuel). The junior also combined for 13 digs, seven aces, and two blocks across tilts against the Saints and Rivier.
The Leopards (9-1, 3-0 GNAC) continue their conference stretch hosting Regis on Wednesday.
