Men's Indoor Track & Field Competes Twice on the Weekend
Leopards post strong individual results at the Harvard Invitational and the John Thomas Terrier Classic

BOSTON, Mass. – The Wentworth Institute of Technology men's indoor track & field team competed in a pair of meets over the weekend as the Leopards were at the Harvard Invitational on Friday and the Boston University John Thomas Terrier Classic on Saturday.
HOW IT HAPPENED (FRIDAY):
- Oliver Bishop provisionally qualified the Division III New England Championships with his time of 9.00 seconds in the 60M hurdles, where he placed 33rd.
- Dominic Simpri posted a 15th-place finish in the high jump with a top jump of 1.80M.
- The Leopards had two in the top 20 in the long jump with Tyler Le finishing 13th (6.18M) and Amir Bahador placing 18th (6.04M).
HOW IT HAPPENED (SATURDAY):
- Ezra Blasko set a program record in the 3000M with a time of 8:37.31. He finished 128th out of 216.
- Gabe Silva paced the Leopards in a pair of events, finishing 33rd in the 60M dash with a time of 7.30 seconds, He followed that up with a 75th-place finish in a deep field in the 200M dash, running a time of 22.78 seconds. His 22.78 second time bested his third-place spot on the program's all-time list.
- Ryan Ballard improved his Division III New England qualifying time in the mile, running a time of 4:09.38 to finish 75th out of 230 runners. This time is the second-fastest mile in program history, surpassing his time of 4:11.73 that he set two weeks ago.
- Jace Matthew recorded a 10th-place finish in the pole vault with a top mark of 4.00M.
- Silva, Ezra Blasko (3000M; 8:37.31), and Matthew all each provisionally qualified for the Division III New England Championships.

- Wentworth competes at both Tufts University and Boston University the weekend of February 13-14.
