Ballard, Fouron Claim CSC Academic All-District Honors
Ryan Ballard and Fabrice Fouron each claim CSC Academic All-District accolade for the second straight season
BOSTON, Mass. – Two members of the Wentworth Institute of Technology men's track and field team have been recognized by the College Sports Communicators (CSC) as 2024-2025 Academic All-District® Men's Cross Country/Track & Field Team honorees.
The 2024-2025 Academic All-District® Men's Cross Country/Track & Field Team, selected by CSC, recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the field and in the classroom. The CSC Academic All-America® program separately recognizes honorees in four divisions — NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III and NAIA.
In order to be eligible for consideration, student-athletes must meet the following criteria:
- Student-athletes must be at least a sophomore, eligibility wise.
- Student-athletes must have at least a 3.50 cumulative grade point average.
- Student-athletes must have finished the season in the top-50 of the NCAA's regional rankings for their respective event.
Ryan Ballard, who is also a member of the Black & Gold's men's cross country team, and Fabrice Fouron are the Leopards' two honorees. The duo also earned Academic All-District honors a season ago.
