Sleasman, Pierce Set Track Program Records at John Thomas Invitational
Junior Eli Sleasman (pole vault) and senior Jared Pierce (shot put) each set records to help the Leopards kick off the weekend

BOSTON, Mass. – A program record and first-place finish in the pole vault from junior Elijah Sleasman (Albany, N.Y.) helped the men's side of the Wentworth Institute of Technology indoor track team to a successful Friday at the John Thomas Terrier Classic. In addition to Sleasman's record 4.55M in the pole vault, senior Jared Pierce (Biddeford, Maine) established a new program mark in the shot put with a throw of 15.37M.
