Men's Tennis Wraps up Season with Convincing Win over Salem State
Leopards complete the 2024-25 campaign with an 8-1 win over Salem State; Pranav Marwaha, James Weete, and Thomas Kot each won two matches for the Black & Gold

SALEM, Mass. – The Wentworth Institute of Technology men's tennis team wrapped up its season in convincing fashion, downing Salem State, 8-1, in non-conference action Friday afternoon.
HOW IT HAPPENED:
- Wentworth swept doubles play to take a commanding 3-0 lead. At No. 3, James Weete and Thomas Kot were an 8-1 winner. Andre Juscamaita teamed with Eric Doraci to win, 8-2, at No. 1. Pranav Marwaha and Rene Rodriguez completed the sweep with an 8-2 win at No. 2.
- Eric Doraci wasted little time putting the Leopards ahead, 4-0, with a 6-0, 6-0 win at No. 4 singles before Weete clinched the match with a 6-1, 6-0 win at No. 3.
- Kot was a 6-0, 6-3 winner at No. 5, Liam Aguirre claimed a 6-1, 6-3 decision at No. 6, and Marwaha picked up Wentworth's eighth point of the match with a three-set (1-6, 6-1, 10-7) win at No. 2.
- Juscamaita was defeated in a tightly contested match at No. 1, 4-6, 5-7.
