Men's Tennis Drops Decision to Gordon
Leopards fall, 7-0, to the Fighting Scots as two of three doubles were tightly contested and two singles matches went to three sets

WENHAM, Mass. – The Wentworth Institute of Technology men's tennis team dropped a 7-0 decision to Gordon in Conference of New England play on Wednesday afternoon.
With the win the Fighting Scots improve to 9-7 overall and 5-3 in CNE play while the Leopards slip to 5-10 (3-3).
Prior to the match, Niko Rosich, Pranav Marwaha, and Eric Doraci were recognized as seniors.
HOW IT HAPPENED:
- While Gordon took all three doubles flights to take a 1-0 lead, two of the three flights were very tightly contested. After Rosich and Liam Aguirre were defeated, 1-6, at No. 3, Andre Juscamaita and Doraci fell, 5-7, at No. 1. Marwaha and Rene Rodriguez nearly picked up a win at No. 2, however, were defeated, 6-7 (5-7).
- James Weete was defeated, 2-6, 2-6 at No.5 and Juscamaita fell, 1-6, 4-6, at No.1. The match was clinched at No. 2 as Marwaha fell, 5-7, 1-6.
- Rodriguez fell at No. 3, 4-6, 4-6, however, both Doraci and Rosich went to three sets in their matches. Doraci won his first set, 7-5, before falling, 1-6 and 1-10 in the tiebreaker. At No.4, Rosich dropped the first set, 2-6, but recovered to win the second set by an identical score. In the tiebreaker, he was defeated, 1-6.
