Four From Men's Lacrosse Earn NEILA All-Academic Honors
Trevor Guilmette, Kyle Leger, Tyler Longo, and Sal Panetta have been selected to the 2026 NEILA All-Academic Teams
SOUTH HADLEY, Mass. – Four members of the Wentworth Institute of Technology men's lacrosse team were named to the 2026 New England Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association (NEILA) All-Academic Team, as announced by the organization last week.
Defensemen Trevor Guilmette (electrical engineering) and Kyle Leger (electrotechnical engineering) and midfielders Tyler Longo (construction management) and Sal Panetta (construction management) represent the Leopards on the 2026 NEILA All-Academic Team.
In total, 202 Division III players representing 39 different institutions made an appearance on this year's squads.
Nominees must have a senior or graduate student standing with no eligibility remaining or plans to use their eligibility in New England, a cumulative grade point average of 3.0 or better on a 4.0 scale and be an impact player for their team.
