Golf Wins RIC Fall Invitational; Madadi Ties for Medalist Honors
Leopards (302) edge Rhode Island College (303) for second tournament win of the fall; Milaad Madadi shoots a one-under 71
WARWICK, R.I. – Milaad Madadi tied for medalist honors, shooting a one-under 71 as the Wentworth Institute of Technology golf team captured the Rhode Island College Fall Invitational, played at the par 72, 6.508-yard Valley Country Club.
The Leopards shot their second-lowest score of the season (302) to edge Rhode Island College's A team (303). The Anchormen's B team was third (330), while Dean was fourth (344). The win was the second tournament win of the fall season for Wentworth.
HOW IT HAPPENED:
- Madadi was Wentworth's medalist for the second time this season and earned his first overall medalist honor.
- Jon Dumais placed third, shooting a two-over 74.
- Garrett Kendall finished a stroke out of the top five, carding a six-over 78 to place sixth.
- Ryan Vincent tied for seventh after shooting a 79
- Pablo Artero shot an 88 to place 16th.
