Kendall Earns Medalist Honors at Battle for Boston Tournament
Garrett Kendall shot a one-over 72 and took home top honors after a win on the second playoff hole

CANDIA, N.H. Garrett Kendall took home medalist honors as the Wentworth Institute of Technology golf team competed at the Battle for Boston Tournament on Friday afternoon at Candia Woods Golf Links.
Kendall shot a one-over 72 on the par 71 course and took home top honors by beating Suffolk's Mike Gallagher in a two-hole playoff. As a team, the Leopards shot 321 to finish fourth.
HOW IT HAPPENED:
- After playing three-over par through the first five holes, Kendall recorded three straight pars and closed out the front nine with a birdie to sit at two over with a 37. He eagled the 10th hole to put himself at even par, however, found himself two over after a double bogey on 13. Recording birdies on two of the next three holes, he found himself back at even par before a par on 17 and a bogey on 18 closed out the round at one over.
- Milaad Madadi tied for 12th after shooting an 80. Madadi had a pair of birdies on the front nine.
- Jon Dumais had a birdie on the front nine, as he was three over through nine. He finished with an 81 which tied him for 14th.
- Ryan Vincent knocked in a pair of birdies on the front nine and finished 19th.
- Ethan Lackner also competed for the Black & Gold, shooting a 93 to finish 20th.
