Men’s Basketball Faces Setback Against Suffolk
Colin Mannke led the team with eight points and eight rebounds. Mike Yentin and Dylan Olson score seven each while Donovan Holway grabbed five rebounds.

BOSTON, Mass. – The Wentworth Institute of Technology men's basketball team fell to the Suffolk Rams 79-42 on Tuesday night. Colin Mannke's eight points and eight rebounds led the team. Mike Yentin and Dylan Olson added seven points apiece while Donovan Holway added five rebounds. The Leopards shot 30% from the field while Suffolk shot 47% from the field and 37% from behind the arc.
HOW IT HAPPENED:
- Mannke's three opened the scoring before a 12-0 run over five minutes gave Suffolk the lead. Jayden Williams' layup broke Wentworth's scoring drought and Yentin's three cut the lead to six with 12 minutes to play. Nick Verdile hit back-to-back threes for Suffolk to keep the lead at nine and Wentworth used a timeout. Out of the break, Holway's layup was the Leopards' only bucket for two minutes as the Rams held onto the nine-point edge.
- Marquis White and Harrison Neil made shots to stretch the lead to 13 with just under five minutes to play in the first half. Wentworth used another timeout down 15, looking for an answer. An 8-0 run for the Rams pushed the lead to 23 in the final minute of the half. Olson's three broke the scoring drought, but Wentworth went into the break trailing 38-18
- Andy Weeman got on the board in the early stages of the second half, knocking down a pair of free throws. The Rams' offense stayed hot as Neil hit another three to keep the lead at 25 points. Russel Dolabany hit a layup five minutes in to get on the scoresheet before a steal from Chase Mello led to a Mannke layup. Nick Verdile's three at the midway point gave the Rams a 30-point lead, keeping the visitors in control.S
