Baseball Earns ABCA Team Academic Excellence Award
The Leopards claim a second consecutive ABCA Team Academic Excellence Award with a 3.35 GPA
GREENSBORO, N.C. – For the second consecutive year, the Wentworth Institute of Technology baseball team earned the America Baseball Coaches Association (ABCA) Team Academic Excellence Award, presented by Sports Attack.
The award recognizes ABCA member teams from all levels of high school and collegiate baseball that achieved a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher on a 4.0 scale during the 2025-26 academic year. This year's award recipients include nearly 500 college programs and more than 320 high school programs.
Wentworth earned the award last season for the first time in program history with a 3.37 GPA. The Leopards make it a second year in a row earning the award with a 3.35 GPA during the 2025-26 academic year.
