Mike Pugliese

Bio

Mike Pugliese was named Wentworth's Assistant Director of Athletic Communications in September of 2021.

As Assistant Director of Athletic Communications, Pugliese assists in the promotion of Wentworth's 18 varsity sports, including writing press releases and feature stories, serving as the official game statistician for multiple sports, producing game programs, managing and contributing to the department’s video and audio broadcasting service, and updating the school’s athletic website.

Prior to Wentworth, Pugliese was the Assistant Sports Information Director at Bard College for two years. His responsibilities included creating written and video content for the Bard Athletics website, providing statistical coverage for home events, contributing to all Bard Athletics social media channels, setting up broadcasts for all Bard athletic events, and promoting the college's 19 varsity athletic programs.

Pugliese also spent two years as the Assistant Director of Athletic Communications at Manhattanville College while finishing his Master's degree. He handed day-to-day operations for the Valiants' athletic communications department, produced content for their website, produced broadcasts, created graphics for social media and was the primary statistician for many of the college's 22 athletic programs.

In May of 2019, Pugliese earned his M.S. in Sport Business Management from Manhattanville. He earned his Bachelor's Degree in Digital Media Programming and Management at SUNY New Paltz in May of 2016.

A native of Yonkers, N.Y., Pugliese currently resides in Brighton, Mass.
