Dan Kastner

Bio

Dan Kastner joined the Wentworth Athletics staff in October 2025.

Prior to arriving at Wentworth, he spent three years as Assistant Director of Athletic Communications at UMass Lowell, serving as the primary contact for women’s soccer, women’s basketball, and baseball. Kastner managed the university athletics social media accounts and oversaw gameday statistics. He also spearheaded a media campaign highlighting the university’s mental health resources available to student-athletes.

Before joining the River Hawks, he spent two years as an Athletic Communications Assistant at the University of Connecticut. While with the Huskies, Kastner served as the primary contact for women’s volleyball, women’s hockey, men’s and women’s soccer, men’s and women’s swimming and diving, and women’s lacrosse. He also served as a secondary contact for the women’s basketball team and assisted with gameday operations for men’s and women’s basketball.  

Kastner attended the University of Vermont and spent two years as an intern with the athletic communications department, running team social media pages and maintaining in-game statistics and records.

He graduated from UVM in 2019 with a Bachelor of Science in Public Communication with a Sports Management minor and is a native of Windsor, Connecticut.
