Five Student-Athletes Place on CSC Academic All-District Men’s At-Large Team
Drew Bouley, Kyle Leger, Tyler Longo, and Trevor Guilmette make the squad from men's lacrosse while Jack McGovern earns honors for men's ice hockey
BOSTON, Mass. – Four members of the Wentworth Institute of Technology men's lacrosse team and one member of the men's ice hockey team have been recognized by the College Sports Communicators (CSC) as 2024-2025 Academic All-District® Men's At-Large Team honorees.
The 2024-25 Academic All-District® teams, selected by CSC, recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the field and in the classroom. The CSC Academic All-America® program separately recognizes honorees in four divisions — NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III and NAIA.
In order to be eligible for consideration, student-athletes must meet the following criteria:
- Student-athletes must be at least a sophomore, eligibility wise.
- Student-athletes must have at least a 3.50 cumulative grade point average as both an undergraduate and graduate student (if applicable).
- Student-athletes must have played in at least 90 percent of their team's games or have started in at least 66 percent of their team's games.
- Student-athletes must have earned all-conference honors or received at least one vote in the all-conference nomination process.
From men's lacrosse, Drew Bouley, Kyle Leger, Tyler Longo, and Trevor Guilmette earned respective spots on the team. Leger and Longo each earn CSC Academic All-District honors for the second straight season.
From men's ice hockey, Jack McGovern was the lone representative for the Black & Gold.
