Doner Named CCC Rookie of the Week

BOSTON, Mass. – After an eight-point week, freshman attackman Kyle Doner (Lindenhurst, N.Y.) of the Wentworth Institute of Technology men's lacrosse team has been named the Commonwealth Coast Conference Rookie of the Week. Doner earns this award for games played from March 13-19.

Doner helped the Leopards to a 1-1 week with six goals and two assists. In a 14-9 loss to MIT, he had three goals – two of which came in man-up situations – and also picked up three ground balls. He followed that up with three goals, two assists, and four ground balls in a 16-6 win over St. Joseph's (Maine).

In five games for 4-1 Wentworth, Doner has 16 points, coming on nine goals and seven assists to go along with 13 ground balls. The Leopards host Lasell on Tuesday night.
